WOMADelaide 2023: 30 More Artists Announced

It’s time to rediscover the world! 30 more artists have been added to the lineup including Monday night headliner, Youssou N’Dour & Le Super Étoile de Dakar (Senegal) returning for his fourth WOMADelaide appearance since the inaugural festival in 1992. 

Artists performing for the first time include Norwegian folk-pop singer AURORA (Norway), the authors of the iconic songs I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles) and I’m On My Way, The Proclaimers (Scotland), legendary DJ and producer, Nightmares on Wax (DJ) (UK), one of the most exciting stars in the Latin music space, Cimafunk (Cuba), multi award-winning singer, songwriter, actor and novelist Nakhane (South Africa), international stars of traditional Indian music, Pandit Ronu Majumdar & Dr Jayanthi Kumaresh (India) and many more … 

Plus, after soaring internationally, Sampa The Great (Zambia) returns to WOMADelaide for the first time since 2018. The internationally acclaimed Bangarra Dance Theatre (Australia) returns to the festival after 24 years, performing their iconic work Terrain.
