Airlie Beach Festival Of Music hosted this years, three day Country Rockin Blues Music Festival, in North Tropical Queensland , 40Km west of Mackay at a place called Kitchant Dam.
Featuring some of Australia’s finest Country and indie musicians. Luckily it was all systems go and Covid was definitely not going to stop this Awesome rockin’ blues festival from going ahead!
Country legend James Blundell was headlining the Saturday night, playing alongside him was his very talented son Briar
Blundell and Gypsey Soliders Tash Hardiman and Kim Brooks absolutely killing it as his amazing backup singers , which proved to be a huge success, having stepped in for Dragon who unfortunately couldn’t make it due to the on going Covid Pandemic.
Some of the other great Aussie bands which played throughout this three day jam session, were Gypsey Soldiers, Matty Rogers, The gorgeous sister duo Rach and Bec from Innocent Eve, Hillbilly Goats, Lloyd Sanders, Matty Tandy, Creekside, Bella Mackenzie and Kieran McCarthy, all brought their very own musical brilliance to their stages.
I would like to personally thank Gavin Butlin (Butto), Elly Hanlon and Tash Hardiman for looking after me and the awesome hospitality. Its not every day you get to stay out in Cabins and get treated like royalty!
