GANG OF YOUTHS ANNOUNCE ‘A MORE PERFECT UNION’
A CURATED FESTIVAL EXPERIENCE IN TASMANIA AND QUEENSLAND
Just days away from the highly-anticipated release of their third-album angel in realtime., Gang Of Youths are excited to announce the return of A More Perfect Union: a festival experience curated by the band, featuring some of Australia and the world’s most exciting artists, presented by triple j.
Carefully crafted from top-to-bottom, the festival will take place in Hobart and the Sandstone Point, boasting two completely unique line-ups in some of the country’s most stunning outdoor venues.
The Hobart (TAS) instalment of A More Perfect Union 2022 will take place at the Regatta Grounds on Sunday 14th August. Gang Of Youths will be joined by none other than Arlo Parks, Cub Sport, Gretta Ray, Adam Newling andThe Lazy Eyes.
The Sandstone Point (QLD) instalment of A More Perfect Union 2022 will take place at Sandstone Point Hotel on Saturday 20th August. Gang Of Youths will be joined by Matt Corby, Middle Kids, Budjerah, BLESSED, Becca Hatch and Romero.
On top of the hand-selected line-up, A More Perfect Union will feature gourmet food trucks, boutique beer, wine and other untold wonders. VIP tickets will grant fans access to exclusive bar spaces, with additional shade, seating and stage views.
Tickets for both events will go on sale to the general public on Friday 25th February @ 10 AM local, but fans are able to get early access to tickets by signing up here.
A More Perfect Union was first conceived in 2018 when Gang Of Youths sold out Brisbane’s Riverstage in under 30 minutes with a line-up featuring Jack River, Thelma Plum, Luca Brasi and Charlie Collins. The rebirth of the event coincides with Gang Of Youths’ angel in realtime. Tour, coming to major arenas in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth in July/August and on sale now.

London’s Arlo Parks has created her lane of poetic indie-pop meets soul and has become a leading voice for her generation’s explorations in identity, sexuality, mental health, and relationships. The 21-year-old nabbed herself two Grammy Nominations for Best New Artist and Best Alternative Music Album and has won the UK’s prestigious Mercury Prize.
Brisbane four-piece Cub Sport will hit the stage to perform crowd favourites and tracks from their acclaimed fourth album LIKE NIRVANA. Australian singer-songwriter Gretta Ray will enchant audiences with tracks from her 2022 triple j feature album Begin To Look Around.
Sydney’s The Lazy Eyes will electrify the crowd with their signature psych-rock, whilst the unfiltered and authentic troubadour Adam Newling, who has dominated the triple j airwaves with his single “Sweetness,” will be playing his latest work.

ARIA Award winner Matt Corby will lead an enormous supporting line-up at the Sandstone Point Hotel in Queensland, joined by Sydney-based three-piece Middle Kids, performing tracks from their ARIA Award-winning album Today We’re The Greatest.
Soulful NSW songwriter Budjerah, who won the Michael Gudinski Breakthrough Artist at the 2021 ARIA Awards will lead a host of rising stars, including Sydney-based producer, rapper and multi-instrumentalist BLESSED, Western Sydney R&B phenom Becca Hatch and Melbourne power-pop punks Romero in advance of their debut album Turn It On! coming in April.
